HAPPY NEW YEAR Welcome to the January edition of OnTrade Scotland. It is a new year and like it or not it’s time for a new approach. We along with others will continue to champion the industry on any front possible and support our trade bodies, venues, brands and suppliers challenge any unfair or wrong challenge to our sector like DRS, Vat, and rates issues EVER STEP OF THE WAY. However, we ALL need to accept our industry is evolving and embrace new ways of working instead of looking back. Customers want experience, they want instagramable food and cocktails, they want good surroundings, a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
