Indigo Magazine | Fall 2022

Indigo Magazine is a general-interest magazine and a product of Washburn University Student Media. Indigo was formerly known as the Bod Magazine. One major benefit of Student Media at Washburn University is the freedom students have to make all decisions regarding the publications and projects we complete. As editor-in-chief of the magazine, I spent some time contemplating the name of the magazine. I got a lot of great feedback, student opinion and advice, and I ultimately made a choice alongside the incoming editor-in-chief. One of the earlier names of this magazine was Indigo, and we believed it best fit with our vision for the magazine. Although this magazine is created for the Washburn community, we want it to be able to transcend our campus and make an impact in other communities as well.
