American DBE Magazine - Spring 2022

This issue of American DBE features a cover story on the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program now underway in the states of Washington and Oregon to build a new bridge on Interstate 5 connecting the two states. The IBR program aims to make equity and sustainability hallmarks of this monumental project. This issue also features stories on WSP USA and Hill International partnering with DBEs to grow capacity and create opportunity. The DBE Powerplayer in this issue is Detroit-based Onyx Enterprise and the Program Spotlight is focused on the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. PANYNJ made a recommitment to diversity after the social unrest resulting from the murder of George Floyd in 2020.
