Phoenix Magazine 2021-2022

The Phoenix Magazine is a digital-based magazine that exists for students of all grade levels. It is a place where a student can share poems, short stories, one-act plays, essays, as well as original artwork and photography with the Bishop Eustace community. Students may elect to remain anonymous when they submit a piece. The magazine is student-led from the theme for the year, to designed layouts, to editing. Bishop Eustace Prep’s literary magazine, Phoenix, ranked Superior in the 2021 NCTE Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) program. Selected by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), the mission of NCTE’s REALM program is to publicly recognize excellent literary magazines produced by students with the support of their teachers. REALM is designed to encourage all schools to develop literary magazines that celebrate the art and craft of writing.
