The Architect's Diary Magazine Edition - 06
As a creative community of Architects and Interior Designers, we perceive spaces with unconventional integrity. But, I ask, are these spaces seeking a rejuvenation or are we, the human race, monopolizing our perceptions and dominating the spaces for the users, ourselves for the impermanent luxuries we seek? How long do we have before losing the luxury to choose to sustain the roots, the spaces and the race? This edition pretty much addresses the emergency and innovative ways of defining the Raw Luxury. Skapa Architects celebrates a contemporary classic palette that houses some vintage design elements, preserving the roots with modern sensibilities. And while we talk of preservation and sustaining the traditions, Design Kacheri comes up with an applaudable Hospitality design with an eco vernacular hotel in Karnataka, India. Alongside featured is a commercial space by Flyingseeds exploring a brick facade in unconventional ways.
