UNMASKED (The Lifeline Magazine, August-November 2021)

The COVID-19 forced us to live restricted lives. Man is perpetually a social being, he lives because he is connected. But that connection is disrupted when he started to cover his mouth and nose and distanced himself. Now is the right time to unmask our inner voices and let our words mince through the fibers of consciousness. We must work out the knots that distract us, the headlines that bring us anxiety, and the part of ourselves that seems too broken to bring to the light. Let us reclaim the lost pages of our narratives and reveal our psyches to each other. For no degree of inhibitions can prevent us from claiming this final horizon, this inevitable context of being unmasked.
