Introduction
Теория где когда появилось
Тут не должно быть я
Всегда мы
One day, while chatting with English-speaking Internet friends on a forum, I met with a word I had never heard before, which they used very often. It turned out that this is the word of a new youth slang among Americans. I was very interested in this, and I decided to look deeper into this topic.
Therefore, I choоse a project on the topic: “Anglo-American slang". This topic will be relevant for many people, especially for those who play online games or communicate via the Internet. The purpose of my project is to investigate the use of Anglo-American slang among school students.

To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks:
Task1: To study the literature.
Task 2: Describe the features of modern American slang.
Task 3: Ways of penetration of Anglo-American slang into the Russian language.
Task 4: Conduct a survey among students of the school.
Task 5: To analyze the use of borrowed words among the students of our school.

So what is slang? After studying the information on the Internet, I realized that slang is new words, phrases or abbreviations used among certain groups of people, mainly among young people.
Slang is not used in the official spoken and written language. It arises when it is necessary to make speech more relaxed and playful, especially in your company. Thanks to slang expressions, a bit of humor, rudeness or shock is interspersed in the conversation.

According to one version, the English `slang' comes from `sling' (throwing, throwing). There is also a version that the slang goes back to `slanguage'. Moreover, the initial `s' was allegedly added to `language' as a result of the disappearance of the word `thieves', that is, the thieves' speech “thieves' language" was originally meant.

In order not only to learn the “words” from the youth Anglo-American lexicon, but also to use them skillfully in speech, you need to clearly understand their meaning, because sometimes they are translated literally absurdly or have a meaning opposite to that which they put into them. Here are examples of the most popular words and expressions and examples of their use.
Dude
It translates into Russian as "buddy", " or "sidekick". “Hey dude, how’s it going?” – "Привет, чувак, как дела?"
Squad goals
Teenagers replace the combination of words “dream team” with phrase “squad goals” (идеальная команда, которой хотят стать)
To have a nasty spill – неудачно упасть.
Wicked- it amazing or brilliant

Ways of penetration of Anglo-American slang into the Russian language
There are 4 reasons in total why borrowings from other languages take root so quickly in Russian:
1. There is no word in the language to denote a new process or concept
2. The Russian word does not fully or inaccurately reflect the meaning of the concept
3. Youth and trends
4. Borrowing allows you to shorten a long phrase or phrase in Russian
Today, you can find tens of thousands of words that have migrated to Russian from other languages. Default, pub, killer, shredder, thriller, burger — all these are quite common words for us that do not cut the ear. There are also a huge number of them among the literary vocabulary: vary, accent, infection, reconstruction, elastic.

For the research part, I decided to do a survey among the students of the gymnasium. I interviewed 17 people, and during the survey I found out how many people use slang and what phrases they used. I presented the results of the survey below
Question 1. Do you use slang in your daily life?
We can see the results of this survey in the Chart 1 in the application. The survey revealed that 18 percent of students in the class do not use slang.
Question 2. What words do you use?
The results of this survey are shown in the second chart. Most respondents use modern
eхpressions taken from English.
Thanks to the diagrams, we clearly saw how many people in the class use slang and what
eхpressions they prefer.

Conclusion
At the moment, the influence of English on Russian is very widespread. A lot of words related to the computer sphere, the field of economics and politics, sports and entertainment have come to us from the English language.
After analyzing the theoretical material, we came to the conclusion that today one of the most influenced social dialects of the English language is youth slang. The process of borrowing is one of the most important sources of the formation of this sublanguage.
