If we could know which road to take,
If we were told which choice to make,
We wouldn’t need to hurry,
And nobody would worry,
Life would be just a piece of cake.

Success stories: Albert Einstein, 1879-1955
On the way to success, Albert Einstein had to overcome poverty, a whole bunch of diseases, numerous refusals and stubborn misunderstandings. But he overcame everything and became an outstanding scientist.

Success stories: Albert Einstein [ælbət ˈaɪnstaɪn], 1879-1955
Little Einstein did not speak until he was 3 years old, and only learned to read at 7. At school he was the worst student, and before answering any question, he thought for a long time and at first uttered the answer "to himself" in a whisper.
At the age of 15, he was expelled from school and tried to go to university, but failed the entrance exams. On the second attempt, he still managed to enter the Physicotechnical Institute, but Einstein missed most of his classes at the university. In addition, he managed to quarrel with each of his teachers, since he had his own view of absolutely everything.
At 22, Einstein was a certified teacher of physics and mathematics. But quarrels with teachers prevented him from getting a job, so for two years the young man took odd jobs. He lived very poorly, there were days when there was not a crumb in the house. With the help of friends, he found a job at the patent office, and gave it many years.
The scientist made a worthy contribution to the development of nuclear energy. His world-famous formula for the dependence of mass and energy E = mc2 underlies the nuclear reactions necessary for light and heat. Einstein's discovery of the photoelectric effect formed the principle of operation of a modern laser. For this the great scientist was awarded the Nobel Prize.

Learning a foreign language is the key to success in any occupation.
There are two opposite opinions about the value of learning a foreign language for a career. Some people think that knowledge of foreign languages is essential for getting a good job, others disagree with them.
In the following paragraphs, I am going to consider this issue. In my opinion, learning a foreign language gives you an opportunity to get a beneficial position in any occupation.
Firstly, by learning new languages people become open-minded for up-to-date information and experiences, they start being more curious which is a good trait for training new skills needed for getting desired job. Also, curiosity about the world can help you in many endeavours [ɪn'devə] (попытки, усилия) in life.
Secondly, through learning foreign languages one can develop cognitive thinking and problem-solving skills, which are useful in any work, as each activity requires good memory and logical thinking.
