Border services officers are the first point of contact when travelers arrive in any country
They are the first line of defense against international terrorism. 
Customs officers are responsible for preventing the illegal importation of goods such as drugs and weapons.

  Customs regulations
To simplify the procedure for customs control of passengers, two separate systems were introduced, which were called "corridors". The use of the dual corridor system is regulated by the Customs Code of the EEU.
Customs rules are clear and easy to follow. Passengers who do not carry items subject to declaration pass through the Green Corridor. Other passengers must go through the Red Corridor.

Green corridor at the airport
The "Green" corridor is for passengers who do not have items subject to declaration. Walking into the green area of the airport, it is as if the traveler declares that he does not have items from the "black list" with him.
Documentation in the "green" corridor is done in a simplified manner.
If a passenger has items to declare, their passage through the green zone is considered a violation of the law.
Violation of the rules of customs control is punishable by a fine or criminal liability.

If you are carrying items subject to a written declaration, you must go through the red corridor.
You must fill out a customs declaration and present the listed items to the customs officer.

Cash above $10,000, bank checks, bills of exchange and securities
Items for personal use over EUR 10,000, or items exceeding 50 kg in weight
State awards and cultural values
Drugs of the narcotic spectrum, if they have documents
Any weapon or part of a weapon
Legacy
Indivisible goods, weighing more than 35 kg.

                  Blue corridor
Some European Union airports have a triple system of corridors: green, red and blue. Therefore, EU citizens go through the blue corridor if they are traveling within the European Union.
