Computer is an electronic device that can receive a set of instructions called program and then carry out them. The modern world of high technology could not be possible without computers. Different types and sizes of computers find uses throughout our society.

They (computers) are used for:
the storage and handling of data;
secret governmental files;
information about banking transactions;
and so on.

There are two main types of computers:
Analog;
Digital
Although the term computer is often used to mean only the digital type, because this type of computer is widely used today.

The speed at which the computer performs this simple act is called computer speed. Computer speeds are measured in Hertz or cycles per second.

Printer – is an external hardware output device that takes the electronic data stored on a computer or other device and generates a hard copy of it.

Monitor - a device used for observing, checking, or keeping a continuous record of something.

Speakers -  a device which converts an electrical audio signal into a corresponding sound.

C.P.U. - a central processing unit, also called a central processor or main processor, is the electronic circuitry within a computer that executes instructions that make up a computer program. The CPU performs basic arithmetic, logic, controlling, and input/output  (I/O) operations specified by the instructions in the program.

A computer keyboard is one of the primary input devices used with a computer. Similar to an electric typewriter, a keyboard is composed of buttons that create letters, numbers, and symbols, as well as perform other functions. Computer mouse -  is a hand-held pointing device that detects two-dimensional motion relative to a surface. This motion is typically translated into the motion of a pointer on a display, which allows a smooth control of the graphical user interface of a computer.
A computer mouse with the most common features: two buttons
(left and right) and a scroll wheel
(which also functions as a button).
