Form of Present Perfect Progressive
Образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола to be в Present Perfect формы смыслового глагола.
have been/ has been +V ing

 Use of Present Perfect Progressive
Действие началось в прошлом, продолжается до настоящего времени, и, возможно, продолжится в будущем.
I have been writing an essay for two days. –
Я пишу эссе уже два дня.
Т.е. я делал и продолжаю делать.
2. Действие завершилось недавно или только что.
I have been surfing the Net for 1 hour.
Я зависаю в интернете (уже) целый час.

Recently - недавно
Lately – в последнее время
For a long time – долго
How long? – как долго?
the whole week (month, year…)- целую неделю (месяц, год …)
