A documentary is a programme which gives information about a particular subject
An advert is any public announcement designed to see goods or publicize an event.
A soap opera is an on- going television serial.
A talk show is a TV programme where people exchange their views.
A music programme is a musical broadcast on radio or television.
A weather forecast is a statement predicting the weather.
The Internet is a way to communicate with your partner.
A quiz is a n entertainment in which the knowledge of the players is tested by a series of questions.

Use: learn a lot about the life style in other countries, learn about the history of their own country, choose the places they would like to visit, to rest, to relax, to receive information, have no time to communicate with their relatives, damage their eyes, put on weight, have no time for sport activities in the fresh air, learn about bad side of life, get nervous, sleep badly after horror films.

There are programmes which contain a lot of violence for a example 64% of all violence takes place in cartoons.
Few parents actually check up on what their kids are watching. There is a direct link between violence on TV and the horrifying new crimes among the young.
Many young people imprisoned for committing violent crimes report having imitated crime techniques watched on TV.
A lot of people think that violence on TV should be forbidden. And what’s your opinion?

There isn’t much news about ordinary people.
I prefer the Internet because TV news are often out of date.
The Internet -There is only short information there. No details.
Computers affect our eyesight.
It’s rather expensive.
Radio-You can’t see what is happening with your own eye.
You have to believe the journalist’s opinion.
Newspaper- There are usually yesterday’s news there. It’s no use reading them.
They do not bring papers in time and some issues are often lost



You can not only listen to the news but see the events with their own eyes.
You can’t listen to other people’s opinions about the event

I can learn hot news.

You can read the information from different sources .

There are often “ hot lines” on the radio.
The news are not usually recorded beforehand.

Broadsheets usually supply us with reliable information.
You can buy a newspaper to your taste.
You can put it off at any time and return to it later.
