Climate
Crimea lies in the same latitude as Venice, and its summer temperatures are similar to those on the French and Portuguese Algarve Mediterranean coasts.
Crimea has two seasons - the warm / hot season, which lasts from May through to October, and the cool season running from November to April.
In the warm / hot season temperatures rival those of the mediterranean resorts and the average sea temperature in summer is 23ºC. Swimming begins in earnest in May and continues through to the end of October.

According to сensus, the population of Crimea was 2,033,700.[30] The ethnic makeup was comprised the following self-reported groups: Russians: 58.32%; Ukrainians: 24.32%; Crimean Tatars: 12.1%; Belarusians: 1.44%; Tatars: 0.54%; Armenians: 0.43%; and Jews: 0.22%.
Other minorities are Black Sea Germans, Romani people, Bulgarians, Poles, Azerbaijanis, Koreans, Greeks and Italians.

Foros Church of Christ Resurrection.

The Foros Church of Christ Resurrection is Russian architectural monument of 19th century. The Foros Church was erected and dedicated to God in 1892. The church worked till 1927. Church services started in early 90-s and were conducted simultaneously with restoration works.

Chersonesos Taurica
is an ancient Greek colony founded approximately 2500 years ago in the southwestern part of Crimea, known then as Taurica. The colony was established in the 6th century BC by settlers from Heraclea Pontica. Currently the site is part of the National Historical-Archeological Museum-Zapovednik of Ukraine "Khersones Tavriysky".

Swallow's Nest
is a decorative castle near Yalta on the Crimean shore in southern Russia. It was built between 1911 and 1912 near Gaspra, on top of 40-metre (130 ft) high Aurora Cliff, to a Neo-Gothic design by the Russian architect Leonid Sherwood.[1] The castle overlooks Ai–Todor cape of the Black Sea and is located near the remnants of the Roman castrum of Charax.[2] Swallow's Nest is one of the most popular visitor attractions in Crimea.
