Read a dialogue of a couple choosing stairs for their new home.
Jack: What kind of stairs should we have in our new home?
Molly: I think a circular staircase would be elegant and unique. We could also add a landing halfway through the stairs. It’ll be safer.
Jack: But 'L' stairs would be more practical. They save space and still look good.
Molly: Hmm, that could work. Our space is really limited.
Jack: Lastly, we can always install a return staircase, where the stairs curve back in the opposite direction. It is a classic.
Molly: It’s boring! What about spiral stairs?
Jack: They have a compact design but, I think, they are inconvenient. Their treads are narrow.
Molly: I agree. Let’s stick with 'L' stairs. We’ll just choose the right handrails to make them elegant.
Jack: Brilliant!
