1 Every day Robert’s grandfather goes fishing. One day, Robert asked to go too. “I want to catch the magic fish! The first person to eat it will become the cleverest person in the world! Can you help me? – said the grandfather.
2 “Yes!” said Robert and they went fishing.
3 First, they caught a yellow fish with purple spots.
4 Then, they caught a blue fish with red stripes.
5 Suddenly they caught a big, beautiful silver fish with pink and green diamonds. It was the magic fish! It bit his nose!
6 And grandfather said: “Magic fish chose you! You’re the cleverest boy in the world!”

1 Rose loved drawing. She was very poor and didn’t have pens or pencils. She drew pictures in the sand with sticks.
2 One day she met an old woman. She gave Rose paintbrush and some paper.
3 She saw a duck in the pond and painted it. Suddenly, the duck flew off the paper. “Wow, a magic paintbrush”, thought Rose.
4 After that she painted cows for farmers, pencils for teachers, toys for children.
5 The king asked her to paint a tree with lots of money on it. She said no and the king sent her to prison.
6 But she painted a key for the door and a horse to help her run away.

2 One day he bought a big lump of gold. He made a hole under the tree and put it there.
3 Every night he went there to look at his money in the lump.
4 But one day a thief saw Paul looking at the gold. When Paul went home the thief took the lump and ran away
5 The next day Paul didn’t find his gold. He went to the wise man and asked for help.
6 The man told him to get a stone and put it under the tree and to look at it. He understood that it was very silly to go every day and to look at the lump.

5 George was very brave! He attacked the dragon and killed it.
6 Everyone in the village was very happy!
