Task 1: to collect the information about the most interesting sightseeings in Domodedovo
Task 2: to analyze the information, learn new words.
Task 3: to make the presentation of the most interesting places to visit in Domodedovo
Hypotheses: Domodedovo is developing constantly. A lot of people come to visit the city but they don’t know what to see here. They need a tourist guide of Domodedovo. So, we decided to collect the most popular places in our presentation.

There is a legend about Domodedovo. Many years ago, one old man settled near the Rozhayka. He was building houses. After that he was called Ded Domodel (the old Man housebuilder). Other people started to build their houses near his house. If anyone asked them, where they lived they said “next to Doma Dedova” (next to the Old Man’s House).
Ded Domodel was not only talented builder, he was also an excellent birdman. He caught birds and gave to just married as a present. Just married released the birds as a symbol of love and loyalty.
In 2014 the sculpture of Ded Domodel was installed in “Yolochky” Park near the Lovers’ s alley.
Nowdays, local people come to this place and ask Ded Domodel for happiness and prosperity.

Obelisk of glory. It’s is 42 meters high. The Obelisk of memory for the soldiers, who died in the Patriotic war. It was opened in Sovietskaya Street in 1962. In 2015 the obelisk was reconstructed.

The alley was opened in 2005.
Walking on it you, can see stars symbolizing the years of the Great Patriotic war.
At the bottom of each star the capsules with earth, taken from the places of combat events, were buried.
The Alley of Glory (or The alley of the 60 anniversary of Victory)
1941 - the year when Victor Talalichin ( one of the famous pilot) was hit and perished in fighting.

1942- this year dedicated to the warriors died in great battle before Stalingrad.

1943- dedicated to the battle of the 3 regiment before Prochorovka village and before Kursk.

1944- dedicated to people lived in Leningrad ( St. Petersburg), who could survive after 900 days of blockade.

1945- the year of victory in the Great Patriotic war. At the bottom of the star is the capsule with earth taken from the Treptov park, Berlin, Germany.

The cathedral of all Saints in Russian land brightened
September 20,1997 it was already consecrated.
In October 1997 the church received the status of a cathedral.

In this project we have tried to collect the most interesting places to visit in Domodedovo. We hope it will be useful for guests as a guide to learn the most famous facts about our city.
