Цель работы заключается в том, чтобы расширить знание по предмету по теме изучения обычий и традиций праздников Великобритании
Актуальность работы состоит в том, что когда мы отмечаем праздники, то порой даже
не задумываемся об их происхождении. Мне захотелось узнать всё про
британские праздники. Многие
из наших сверстников, я почти уверена, мало знают о традициях английского народа и их традиционных праздниках.
Я помогу им в этом разобраться.

Many festivals and holidays in Britain are very old. Every town, village in Britain has its own traditions, some of them are carefully planned.

Christmas is celebrated on the 25th December. It is the time when Christians around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus. Most people are on holiday in the UK and stay at home with their family on Christmas day. Christmas Day is the favourite day for children. They wake up very early in the morning to find their stockings have been filled by Father Christmas.

Boxing Day is usually celebrated on the following day after Christmas Day. It is the day to open the Christmas Box to share the contents with the poor. Boxing Day is the day when families get together. It is a day of watching sports and playing board games with the family. Many families go on walks in the countryside.

New Year's Day is the first day of the year, in the Gregorian calendar. All over Britain there are parties, fireworks, singing and dancing, to ring out the old year and ring in the new. As the clock - Big Ben - strikes midnight, people link arms and sing a song.

Работая над данной темой, мы узнала много нового о британских праздниках.
1.Праздники сближают людей , поддерживают чувство сплоченности и единства.
2.Они воспитывают чувство уважения к себе и уважительного отношения людей друг к другу.
3.Праздники преображают и вносят положительные моменты в нашу повседневную жизнь.
4.Праздники имеют большое интернациональное , воспитательное и образовательное значение.
5.Праздники играют значительную социальную роль в жизни народов , они способствуют сближению людей.
6.Праздники отвлекают людей от будничных забот , дают психологическую разгрузку.
7.Праздники позволяют людям продемонстрировать свои творческие возможности , таланты и способности.
История праздников Англии увлекательна и поучительна. Ни один народ не мог жить и развиваться отдельно от других. Изучение истории возникновения праздников помогает формировать в каждом человеке чувство любви и привязанности к Родине , помогает осознать смысл своего существования и места в общности людей нашей планеты.
